EDI: Partner profile does not exist as template

What causes this issue?

With the following key, it was only possible to find a partner profile
defined as a template.

This involves the key fields of table EDPP1:
-PARNUM partner number
-PARTYP partner type

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

Please check the EDI partner profiles.
Processing can only be carried out for an active partner.
