EDI: Incorrect status & for inbound IDoc &

What causes this issue?

You are trying to process inbound IDoc &v2&, which has status &v1&.
However, only status values '50', '61' and '64' are permitted for
inbound processing.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?
