Start date &1 and finish date &2 are not within the project timeframe

What causes this issue?

The timeframe of a project is determined by the calculated start and
finish dates of the project definition. The new start and finish dates
that you have specified for the conflict element are outside this
timeframe. For this reason, the dates of the conflict element are not
adjusted.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

RESET N1
Check the calculated start and finish dates of the project definition.
You can find these dates in the <LS>Detail</> subview of the project's
<LS>Structure</> view on the <LS>Dates and Work</> tab page of the
project definition.
Adjust the new start and finish dates of the conflict element
accordingly.
