Batch definition level not known. System inconsistency!

What causes this issue?

The batch level is not set in the system.

System Response

The system attempted to determine the batch level automatically based on
the existing data basis.
The batch level cannot be uniquely determined with the material master
data and classification information.

How to fix this error?

Set the batch level with activity <DS:SIMG.SIMG_CFMENUOLMSOMCT>Determine
Batch Level and Activate State Management</>.

Procedure for System Administrators

This message appears after a client copy.
The data basis regarding the batch level is already inconsistent in the
source client. Material masters and/or classifications for multiple
batch levels exist.
We recommend you clean up the system and the source clients of the
client copy.

do a cleanup.
