Planned order & is not converted (missing material availability)

What causes this issue?

The availability control in Customizing specifies that a planned order
may only be converted if all materials are available.

System Response

Planned order &V1& was not converted.

How to fix this error?

You have two options:
Correct the missing part situation.
Change the parameters in Customizing in such a way that conversion is
permitted in spite of missing parts.
