Invalid charac. types defined for the charac. profile &1; see long text

What causes this issue?

The characteristic types are incorrectly defined in the
<NP>WRF_CHARVAL_HEAD</> table since the same characteristic types are
defined for one more characteristics in the characteristics profile.
However, each characteristic requires a unique characteristic type.

System Response

You can define the corresponding characteristic type using the
<NP>WRFCHVALTYPE</> transaction. The system uses the characteristic type
you define in the <NP>WRFCHVALTYPE</> transaction to store the
characteristic values in the corresponding fields of the article master
(<NP>MARA</> table).
The following table illustrates the characteristics, their type, and the
corresponding <NP>MARA</> fields:
Characteristics Name: <NP>CHAR_COLOR</>
Characteristic Type: 0 Color Characteristic
Field in Article Master: <NP>MARA-COLOR</>

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

Characteristics Name: <NP>CHAR_SIZE1</>
Characteristic Type: 1 Size Characteristic (Main Size)
Field in Article Master: <NP>MARA-SIZE1</>,,
Characteristics Name: <NP>CHAR_SIZE2</>
Characteristic Type: 2 Size Characteristic (Secondary Size)
Field in Article Master: <NP>MARA-SIZE2</>

How to fix this error?

You can carry out one of the following actions:
Change the characteristic types in the target system for the
characteristics in the characteristics profile, or
Create a new characteristics profile in the target system with unique
characteristic types and map the characteristics profile to the
corresponding material grid in your project.
