No characteristics value exists

What causes this issue?

You wanted to display all values assigned to a characteristic for an
object. However, this is not possible, because no values are assigned
to the characteristic for this object.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
