The column clipboard is empty

What causes this issue?

You want to insert a column. To do this, you must copy a column first.
However, the column buffer is empty.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

Select a column and copy it.
Place the cursor on the column in which you want to insert the copied
column, and insert the column.
