Multiple-values indicator refers to a reference characteristic

What causes this issue?

Characteristic &v1& refers to field &v2& in table &v3&. Usually, such a
field contains exactly one value. This contradicts the
<LS>multiple-values</> indicator.
Object characteristics that refer to the structure SDCOM and are needed
in <DS:GLOS.variant_configuration>variant configuration</> for pricing
are an exception. Characteristics that refer to this structure must
have multiple values.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
