Internal structure for hierarchy & is inconsistent

What causes this issue?

The program expects an object (leaf or node) in the internal hierarchy
description, which does not exist.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

Procedure for System Administrators

Activate hierarchy &V1& (ID: &V2& of characteristic &V3&) again.
If the problem is not solved by reactivating<(>,<)> check table
RSRNEWSIDS (transaction SE16). If this is not empty, execute function
module RRHI_CHAVLS_REQUEST_TO_HIERA with the highest RNSID that appears
in RSRNEWSIDS (transaction SE37).
