SAPconnect: Fax, e-mail; paging, printing, SAP-SAP system communication

What causes this issue?

The operating status of the SAP communication infrastructure (fax,
e-mail, paging, printing and communication between SAP systems) is
displayed in two blocks:
- Display of the number of send orders that are waiting for processing
by the SAPconnect send process.
- Display of the operating status of each individual external component.

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
