Values for the selection screen cannot be saved

What causes this issue?

The selection screen for the write program cannot be saved when the the
system is creating the current archiving session.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

Report the name of the archiving object to SAP.
