Key figure ID could not be deleted

What causes this issue?

When you tried to delete a key figure ID for an object type, the system
discovered that scales still exist for this object.
Since a key figure ID is always needed to determine scale, the entry
could not be deleted.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

If you want to delete the key figure ID for this object type you must
first delete all existing scales for the relevant object type in
Customizing.
