No checking group is maintained for product &1, plant &2 in matl master

What causes this issue?

No checking group has been maintained for the product and plant
specified for the availability check in the material master.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

Maintain the "Availability check" field in the view "Material
Requirements Planning 3" for the product / plant combination specified
in the material master.
