Optionality Search
If no result is found while searching without the MOT (Mode of
Transport), the system will determine contracts with optionality search.
The system checks for the contracts matching the search criteria with
below parameters maintained in the contract optionality.
<LS>MoT</>: The MoT entered on the LDC is additionally compared to the
non-default MOT maintained on the optionality tab).
<LS>Plant</>: For unplanned <LS>Sales Load Location </>entered on the
LDC will be matched with the <LS>Plant </>or <LS>TSW Hierarchy</>
maintained in the optionality tab of the contract.
For an unplanned purchase, the discharge location entered on the LDC
will be matched with the <LS>Plant</> or <LS>TSW Hierarchy</> maintained
in the optionality tab of the contract.
<LS>Customer/Vendor</>: It will be matched with <LS>Alt. Customer</>/
<LS>Vendor</> maintained on the contract.
The contract relevant fields mentioned below are matched to the values
maintained on the LDC:
<LS>Material</>
<LS>Org Data</>
In addition, the system also checks that the <LS>LDC Creation Date</>
should be within the delivery period of the determined contracts.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
