Chart of depreciation & is not active

What causes this issue?

You specified a chart of depreciation which is not active. There can be
two reasons for this:
The chart of depreciation is a standard chart supplied by SAP.
The chart of depreciation has been deleted.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

Specify an active chart of depreciation.
