What causes this issue?

The asset history only supports analysis of individual assets, where no
interim or final totals are calculated. For this reason, the system
ignores the sort version entered.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

Start the history without entering a sort version.
