No Organizational Assignment infotype (0001) exists in reporting period

What causes this issue?

Based on the organizational assignment, input fields are determined for
the data record using feature DOVS1. However, no "Organizational
Assignment" infotype (0001) exists in the reporting period.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

Check why no "Organizational Assignment" infotype exists for the
employee.
