What causes this issue?

For the record type specified, no SPF data was found in the payroll
results for the time period given.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

Enter different data on the selection screen or run payroll again for
this period if necessary.
