Status handler deactivated for application &1 in &2

What causes this issue?

You have run a report that is trying to generate a new status for the
employee, but the Status handler function is deactivated.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

Activate the Status handler in the Customizing activity
