Deletion forbidden! Result was posted with posting run &1 (run type &2)

What causes this issue?

The payroll result cannot be deleted because it has already been posted
with posting run &V1& for run type &V2&.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
