Volume of data cannot be processed by Excel

What causes this issue?

The data volume is too large to be processed within Excel.
See SAP Note 635011.

System Response

The ALV grid view will be restored.


&PROCEDURE&
Reduce the amount of data to be transferred in ALV:
- Restrict the number of data records by using a filter
or
- Hide columns that are not required (for example, if no data is
available)

Procedure for System Administrators

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
