Communication error, Transaction &, Number in folder &

What causes this issue?

There were communication problems during the update. The system could
not write the transaction status to the batch input session. When the
update is completed successfully, the update work process automatically
sets the transaction status to "successfully completed" in the session.
Transaction &V1& is affected. It has the sequential number &V2& in the
session.
Update information:
Return code: &V3&
Text : &V4&

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

The system marks the session as incorrect. After eliminating the cause
of the communications problems, you must reprocess the folder using
Transaction SM35.
