Document type &1 must allow cross-company postings

What causes this issue?

Document type &V1& is being used for a transfer to the general ledger.
The only document types that are permissible are those in which the
attribute <ZH>cross-company</> has been set. This is not the case with
&V1&.

System Response

Error message. Documents for general ledger accounting are not created.

How to fix this error?

In document type &V1&, set the attribute <ZH>cross-company</>, or
assign another document type for general ledger transfer (posting area
0100).
