Taxes on down payments are not possible with external tax systems

What causes this issue?

An exterbal tax calculation system is used for calculating taxes in
company code &V1&. Tax-relevant downpayments are not supported when
using external tax systems.

How to fix this error?

Post the down payment or down payment request without taxes. If the
reconciliation account in the general ledger forces a tax code, change
that master record of the general ledger account &V2& so that postings
without taxes are also permitted.
