Transport Layer Security (TLS) encryption is used in the SAP Cloud Platform and the SAP Cloud Connector connection. It is the default encryption for the connection since it is a highly secure protocol and industry standard for encrypted communication.
Keep in mind to update Cloud Connector installation to make sure there are no weak or deprecated ciphers used for TLS.
